Recently I posted my top 5 animated Disney films. In this list I excluded the feature length films made by Pixar animation studios.Here's my rankings of each of the Pixar films that have been released so far.

1) Finding Nemo (b/c it's held up to multiple viewings, incl. a disney on ice one)
2) Ratatouille
3) The Incredibles
4) Toy Story 2
5) Toy Story
6) A Bug's Life
7) Monster's Inc.
this of course doesn't include the wonderful little shorts they do, like Gerry's Chess Match. Or Cars, which i tried to like but found it middling at best.

I'd put Cars lower if I could, although the short film preceding it, One Man Band, is one of Pixar's finest.

I haven't seen Ratatouille or Cars, but I own Finding Nemo (with no kids!), so I think my list looks like this:

1. The Incredibles - What The Fantastic Four movie should have been.
ReplyDelete2. Monsters Inc. - Best buddy movie of the 21st Century (so far).
3. Toy Story - Nearly perfect. Adn actually the first three are a dead lock tie pretty much.
4. Finding Nemo. - As a father this resonated deeply.
5. Cars - A lot more fun than most people would've led me to believe. I'm not a Nascar fan, but I loved it.
6. A Bug's Life - It loses something with repeat viewing. Still great though.
7. Toy Story 2 - Why Pixar shouldn't do sequels (exceot for the Incredibles, they really should). This wasn't bad by any means, but not great.
Haven't seen Rat.
