Hello Baby Linden!

After many hours at the hospital Thursday night and Friday, the doctor decided to do a cesarean section on my wife Kim. And so, at 6:54 on Friday June 20th, our little joy Linden entered the world at 8 pounds, 1 ounce.
We had some great visitors, including Kim's Mom, Dad, and step-mom who flew in from Texas and Kansas. We came home from the hospital on Monday...and boy was it nice to be home.
Plus our friends have made up a meal schedule and have begun bringing us dinner every night...this is the life?
Feeding is going well, Linden's sleeping through the night (all except for a couple hours last night, and her second night in the world). We just wake her up every couple hours to change and feed her.
Her first pediatrician appointment is tomorrow and things are just going so smooth.
She's so precious, and there is no experience more amazing, rewarding, or incredible that the moment when you hear your child's first cry as she enters into the world.
I promise to get back to regular programming here on StrangeCulture shortly. (thanks Adam for filling in and keeping StrangeCulture fresh).
You can in the future follow us and Linden more closely on Kim's blog, as well as on YouTube (a few videos are already up).

well... i would argue that cuddling with the baby - or holding the baby over your shoulder as he/she wraps around you - is the most incredible, amazing or rewarding thing i've ever experienced.

so many wishes for sleep and congratulations! happy for you.
