Speaking of Cereal...

Speaking of serial killers...let's just talk cereal.

Mind you, I'm not the hugest of cereal fan, but at times, enjoy it like a normal 21st century human (I mean, every grocery store dedicates like an entire aisle to cereal, people must eat the stuff).

So I bring, you my top 10 favorite cereals.

10. Cinnamon Toast Crunch (General Mills)
9. Honey Bunches of Oats (Post)
8. Frosted Mini-Wheats (Kellogg's)
7. Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch (Quaker)
6. Good Friends Cinna-Raisin Crunch (Kashi)
5. Kashi GOLEAN (Kashi)
4. Raisin Bran Crunch (Kellogg's)
3. Cinnamon Life Cereal (Quaker)
2. Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! (Kashi)
1. Cracklin' Oat Brand (Kellogg's)

The brand tally of personal preference is as follows. General Mills and Post each with 1 cereal each, Quaker with 2, and Kellogg's and Kashi each with 3.

Two thoughts:

1. Cracklin Oat Bran has to be one of the most unhealthy cereals with a healthy sounding name.

2. Kashi is great, but you shouldn't be allowed to have an exclamation point in your title. I want to CHOOSE whether I'm excited about your cereal or not. You can't choose for me...

That's all...

Wow. I don't even think I've had that many different cereals.

favorite: good old Honey Nut Cheerios.

Kashi's GoLean Crunch is good. Bear Naked's Vanilla Almond Crunch Whole Grain Granola is the best.

And reading comments about cereal from grown adults (I assume) is even better than digging to the bottom of a sticky box to get at the toy pictured on the front.

With every post, RC, I'm reminded how much of a freak you really are.

Where are all the completely unhealthy, diabetic-coma inducing cereal? Frosted Flakes? Lucky Charms?

Screw healthy. Go cavity.

How disappointing! Since Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Penut Butter Cap'n Crunch are the only 2 on the list that stand the chance of containing a cheap, plastic, made-by-child-labor-in-some-third-world-country toy inside, the only determinant for me personally when I hit the cereal aisle, I will have to say I am a bit dissapointed in the maturity of your choices.

I haven't eaten cereal in years, but I think my favourites would have been (since one of these is no longer made) Quisp, Post Golden Crisp, and Kellog's Raisin Bran.

no Count Chocula?
no E.T. Reeses Cereal?

I don't eat cold cereal any more - I've tried to cut down on milk... But when I did - I'm with Mikey: Life is the best...

The only cereal I've ever liked is the Cinnamon roll cereal (I forgot the name). And TaG!

Where the hell are my Lucky Charms?

Wow, your Top 10 is a lot more healthy than mine would be. I feel a little childish.

the only one of those I've ever tried is Cinnamon Life, and I like plain Life better.

Still, my favourite is Peaches and Cream Instant Oatmeal (made in the microwave, not with boiling water)

I knew Kashi would be on your list... but 3 times?

How did we ever become friends?

Kashi Crunch is great but for a real treat, I like the Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch & CoCo Puffs together.

Life cereal is also a favorite.

Grape Nuts are good but better after heated up - that way they are not too hard.
