Who knew there would ever be a sequel to Bruce Almighty?USA Today has the first images I've seen of Steve Carell (The Office, Forty Year Old Virgin) playing a modern day Noah in Evan Almighty.
The film is do out in 2007 with Morgan Freeman is reprising his role as God.

this movie sounds stupid. i really enjoyed "Bruce Almighty," but they should have left well enough alone.
I agree with Kim. Bruce Almighty brought up some great theological questions/topics...but this is going to be a flop. I can tell already. Plus, Noah wasn't "almighty" was he????? Hmmm.....
you guys are jumping to conclusions. Steve is a funny guy. I'm sure they wouldn't make another movie if there weren't some new, distinct side of the story to explore. Of course, I still haven't seen Bruce Almighty...

Well Kimberly Ann, as you may know it's Hollyweird's way to make needless remakes if the original did well.
