Let Abigail Breslin Walk

Joaquin Phoenix was holding and coddling neurotic water drinking Abigail Breslin (as Bo Hess) in Signs...

Kate Hudson was discovering the joys of being a young guardian of Abigail in Raising Helen...

And then in Little Miss Sunshine Abigail got the opportunity to shine, walking on her own two legs the whole movie in Little Miss Sunshine.

Little Miss Sunshine co-star Paul Dano has some impressive films coming up in the next couple years, but poor Abigail has some weaker projects on tap.

Poor Abigail plays the voice of a puppy in Airbuddies, goofy sounding feel good movie called The Ultimate Gift, and a Raising Helen-esque film by director Scott Hick's film called No Reservations about a chef (Catherine Zeta-Jones) whose life changes when she become guardian of her niece (Abigail Breslin).

I'm impressed with Breslin's skills, how about we let her do some of those crazy roles that Dakota Fanning's been getting so she can give that she can give Fanning a run for her money.

Yeah, she got that great line "There's a monster outside my window can i have a glass of water?"

Oh, and that CZJ movie is a remake of Mostly Martha (I believe), which was apparently quite good, but I never saw it.

Great... this just makes me more and more upset that I didn't see Little Miss Sunshine. DAMNIT!

She's suck a talented girl, I completely agree that they should be giving her some better roles. I really think she'd give Dakota a run for her money.

Yeah, Mostly Martha was a great film, the kind you really don't need to remake.
But I for one think Scott Hicks is a talented guy. Snow Falling on Cedars was one heck of a film.
Could be a good role for her.

The Ultimate Gift is far from goofy! Abigail will make you cry at least twice, if not more, with her amazing performance in this film.

I agree- The Ultimate Gift was spectacular, as was Abigail!

I would rather puke. I hate A.B. I was going to play Kit Kittredge in an american girl mystery. They wanted me to play her. But then she came into the pic. Kit was my favorite american girl too.(grrrrrr......I HATE HER!!)
and if anyone wants to email me, make sure Abby reads it first and have "little miss sunshine(more like little miss perfect)" contact me.

Abigail's a great actress, and has many great upcoming roles, the most notable being "Defintely, Maybe" and "Nim's Island," both of which she has starring (or co-starring) roles in. Not to mention the lead in the next American Girl's movie, as Kit Kittredge. "Signs" and "Raising Helen" were her very first movies, cut her some slack - she was 6-8 years old. Could *you* act in a major motion picture at age 6? Stop comparing her to Dakota - they're both excellent actresses. And "Anonymous," who was too chicken to even leave their own name, just comes off like a jealous wannabe, if we even accept that the unlikely statement about almost being Kit Kittredge is true (which I don't believe for an instant). This kid - only 11 years old - has over twenty acting credits, seven award wins, and eleven award nominations to her name. I guarantee no one else on this board can claim that at age eleven.
