Pre-Precursor Oscar Predictions: Acting Awards

It's crazy that the award season kicks off into full swing shortly with the Satellite Film nominations and National Board of Review awards right at the beginning of December.

With those sort of deadlines and influences in store, I thought I would provide my current predictions for the Academy Awards in the acting categories.

These will inevitably be very wrong, and are of course, based off perception of films and performances, many of which I haven't seen because they haven't been released in theaters yet, but that's the nature of the beast. Feel free to chime in, and we'll see how poorly these predictions truly are.

In the name of fun & sport...here's my predictions.

I think this is very likely, but I think Julianne will be nominated, but I'm not sure which category she'll be placed in...

@ joe - i could see that happening to with the right momentum and if they pushed her in support. The supporting actress race seems open for a new favorite. I felt a little crazy putting two nominees from the fighter in this category.

Actually, felt kind of crazy placing a total of 4 nominees from the Fighter in the acting category.
