I tend to be critical of the 3D film medium, but since the discussion has recently been growing over retooling favorite films into 3D, I decided to try to think of the movie that would make the least amount of sense in a 3D format, based upon the lack of three dimensional action, or scenes.
The Winner: And after much deliberation, I've concluded that Before Sunrise, a great movie in the 2D format, would be by far one of the most pointless movies in 3D.
My runner-up: The Social Network.
What's your nomination for the movie that would be completely pointless to remake in 3D?

Frost/Nixon
Interesting in 3D: The Reader, Black Swan, and Shame
Mentioning Frost/Nixon...that makes me think of how uninteresting Good Night & Good Luck would be.
Did you see a third movie might be made with the "Before Sunrise" peeps?

You are absolutely right. Most of the romantic comedies or love stories don't pretty much appeal to viewers when they're on 3D because the dimensional effect is not much obvious.

But I think Titanic was a pretty good movie to turn into 3D :)
