Is Senator Wayne Allard (Colorado) really as bad of a senator as Time says in it's most recent issue?
Why do I think of Harry Potter every time I see a picture of Senator Olympia J. Snowe (Maine)? (pictured right from Time).

Why did Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes name their baby Suri? Were they thinking at all about how Suri Cruise sounded? (Not only does it sounds stupid but it sounds like Syracuse to me...Moses and Apple are much better names).
With record high heat and rolling blackouts in Fort Worth is it wrong for me to think of Enron?
Where did the Starbucks logo come from?

Why would anyone honestly want to buy underwear they could put their iPod in? (available at Freshpair.com for $22)
Does the movie "There Will Be Blood" directed by P.T. Anderson have any chance of being an Academy Award winner as Will Gray predicts on his blog?
I remember a Time article my wife told me about where Rick Warren was

I wonder what Coca-Cola's new coffee flavored beverage Blak taste like? I still haven't tried it.

Well, those underwear are one dumb invention. And coffee is gross as it is. I won't be trying that Blak
If you try Blak make sure and update it. I've been looking and they aren't selling it around Indianapolis(at least not at the gas stations I frequent).
So, did Tommy-bot have placenta with a side of toast and jam? Never heard the final word on that. BLEAHH!!!
Suri means "Princess" in Hebrew, "red rose" in Persian, and "Yog-Sothoth" in Elder God.
Blak, eh? Even the name sounds gross...
Here's the scoop on the Starbuck's logo, according to Wikipedia:
"The company logo is a siren (sometimes referred to as a mermaid, but it is more likely a melusine since it has two tails). The logo has changed over the years to avoid offense. In the first version, the Starbucks siren had bare breasts and a fully visible, double fish tail. In the second, streamlined version, her breasts were covered by hair, but her navel was still visible, and the fish tail was cropped slightly. In the current version, her navel and breasts are not visible at all, and only vestiges remain of the fish tails. The original logo can still be seen on the Starbucks store in Seattle's Pike Place Market". And since "Starbuck" is a character in Moby Dick, it does make sense that she is a mermaid. I guess.
The original mermaid is quite scandalous as she holds her tails up, revealing her secret places for all to see!

I think it's a leap to make a call that a movie will win an award when the movie hasn't even began shooting. I like Anderson and I like Daniel Day-Lewis and am looking forward to this, but to say it's going to win purely based on that information is kind of crazy!
I love my iPod, but what the fuck, y'know? I refuse to carry it around in my skivvies.

I guess it's for all those people who like to dance around their home in their underwear. Come on, we know you do it. ;)
I go to Saddleback Church were Pastor Rick's HQ is and the efforts are going pretty good on our end. The creative think tanks here are making some interesting concepts revolving around the method of "Teach a man to fish and he'll eat forever". We're not pushing a bunch of money on Rwanda but trying to make there people more economically stable. It's not even about religion. If they want to know about Christianity we can provide that but its not that failed concept of .. we go in you get a bible and we give you food. Cool blog. Thanks for snopes link. :)
