Rumor has it that Jason Reitman's anticipated comedy Up In The Air will premier at the Telluride Film Festival, prior to it's run at the Toronto International Film Festival.As films get shuffled around (such as Shutter Island, moved to February 2010) this film has picked up increase buzz, and Jason Reitman used Telluride in the past as his launching point for the success of his little film called Juno.

could definitely be another one of those little films that is very successful with audiences and critics, and chances are we'll have a better idea of what the buzz is going to look like when the film begins showing at festivals this month.I know I'm excited - I've personally been a fan of both of Reitman's other projects, Thank You For Smoking and Juno. And Clooney -- well, he can be excellent, weird, or generic. I hope this is a case of him being excellent.
I expect not only Clooney to get some buzz off the festivals, but also Anna Kendrick. When it comes down to it, I think Reitman's an excellent director of unique female roles, and hence he got great work out of Ellen Page, Allison Janney, and Jennifer Garner in Juno. Expect the same for Anna Kendrick in Up in The Air. She has a great chance at a supporting actress nomination if this film is at all recognized.(If you're not familiar with Kendrick, check out Moviezzz's recommendation and watch Rocket Science. It's a great film)
Speaking of this film makes me think of Airports, and not just any airports but bad airports.
In travel editor Peter Greenberg's book Don't Go There!
he list some of the WORST airports.The 10 Airports that make Greenberg's list of worst airports include:

You spend anytime in any of these airports...I have in a few.

Well I've not only passed through but slept in Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami's airports, and would say that the first two are just fine. The terminals are a little long (30+ gates, so you might have to walk a ways, but in terms of amenities I don't know why these three would be on the list. Alright, Miami is actually pretty weak.
Worst airport I've ever been to - Port-au-Prince, Haiti. My favorite? Good old Minneapolis-St.Paul International...
Miami was fine for me...
I hate the one at Hosuton though and I'll be going to NYC soon landing in LGA so this list doesn't make me too happy hehehe.
You can definitely throw JFK and EWR (Newark) to this list. None of the NYC accessible airports are up to par. I suppose JFK is the lesser of the two evils. I agree with Miami, it's ran like a marketplace. Some international snafus for me includes Quito, Pisa and Manila.
My favorites I've been to are Tampa, Hong Kong (gorgeous) and Madrid.
Sounds like an interesting movie, I am a huge fan of both Juno and Thank you for Smoking. And I would concur about La Guardia and ATL being on the bad airport lists. I had to spend the night on a bench in ATL last summer.
I am very excite for this film. I loved Juno and consequently am interested in anything Reitman. I agree with you about Clooney, sometimes he's great, sometimes not. I have a feeling this movie will live up to the hype and be a solid Oscar contender.
I think I hate the Atlanta airport becuase I have had to spend too many 4 hour lay-overs in that place. Plus, their confined smoking rooms with automatic doors are completely gross.
But the worst airport I have ev er been to is Bermuda. West Palm Beach is one of my small favorites.
Above all Clooney is a cool guy. And he always cool!!
