Our Princess (As Promised) PLUS Other Halloween Pics

The other day I outlined my feelings on "the cruelty" of dressing up babies and puppies and how I craved to my wife's wishes and we dressed up our 4 month old daughter, Linden (with her Mom)

As promised, here are some pictures of our little princess. Also, Michael Parson's sent me some pictures of "cruel" cat painting, which included this bizarre picture of the skeleton cat, and then this potentially Anne Geddes inspired Chiquita Banana dog pic.

Finally...my friends Anthony & AK sent me a picture of their dog Annie. As I understand it the intention was to dress Annie up as a cowgirl, although some people mis-interpreted Annie's costume as being a waitress at a Mexican restaurant. Judge for yourselves folks:

Linden is precious. Don't you think she is at least a little bit happy in her costume? She seems to like the sparkly parts...

Annie is precious. She is not the least little be happy about her costume... But, we torture her anyway and she forgets about it 30 seconds after it is off.

Linden is beautiful :) It looks like she enjoyed dressing up as a princess, so I don't consider that torturous. Those cat paintings though, yeeek, I've seen a few of them, and that's just plain bizarre.

This conversation reminds me of the scene when Angela gets a hold of Jan's baby at the shower in a recent Office episode! Angela must really love seeing all these babies dressed up for halloween.

Aww Linden is a perfect princess. Why would anyone want to miss out on seeing such an angel dressed up for Halloween?

I love the photos of your little princess. girlie-girls are so cute. After years of worrying that my granddaughters would grow up with a skewed sense of things feminine and feminist, I am happy to report that one of them says that princesses were just her way of finding dragons, and the other one thinks she's Diego.
